Dulux Summer 2013 Trend Event, launching the Collective Passion trend.
Sometimes you’ve gotta ask yourself ‘how can one appeal to fashion bloggers with a topic that doesn’t 100% have to with that particular industry’ well, I honestly ask myself this question quite often, as I LOVE when interesting, cool and random brands want to appeal to fashion bloggers. It shows the scope is widening and the lines are becoming blurry which means bloggers can start writing and featuring some great brands in different ways their readers have never seen before.
Dulux have some great colours for the upcoming season and I thought, the best way we can translate the new colours in features would be by getting a few bloggers to scour their closets for items that possessed the colours (or similar) and shoot them against them. Simple as. My inspiration was the Destiny’s Child ‘Say My Name’ video, which was of course on our shoot playlist amongst other girl band awesomeness.
Throw in some cool nail and make-up artists, yummy food, a photographer that just understood everything I wanted to get out of the pictures & of course, the bloggers themselves and you’ve got yourself one awesome Apartment event.
Check out the pictures from the shoot..
