Last week I met up with some of the team behind new & super luxurious accessory brand LiliYang. We took some pictures with what I can only describe as one of the coolest bags I’ve seen in a while. I picked the Ida bag in Crystal Blue, as it is quite honestly THE perfect bag for me, it is huge, there are all these different sections to it, that you wouldn’t even imagine, it’s made from the best leather and had the cutest gold chains on them, which could totally double for bracelet..
Below are some pictures I took on my phone, whilst we had some brunch at Kipferl. Also pictured below is the matching clutch (The Isadora) in Crystal Blue, which I loved just as much as the Ida! There was just something about its compartments and RIDICULOUS craftsmanship that made me so happy.
So let’s just say you can expect to say a lot more of LiliYang in future, on my blog & otherwise. Oh and below is an interview I had with them that was featured on their blog, ah fun times!
What are you most looking forward to wearing this summer?
Linen!! I know it sounds crazy, but hopefully I’ll be going somewhere hot, just so I can wear linen and make it look cool. Perhaps linen trousers on the beach in the Hampton’s. Yes it sounds totally Cliche, but it sounds soft, right?
What’s your favourite piece from the Liliyang collection?
Ooh that’s a hard one, it’s between the Ida bag (pictured) in Crystal Blue and the Isodora, also in Crystal Blue, but the Ida is more practical so probably that one! The quality and colour, and the little chain details, all just amazing!
Favourite place in London?
How would you describe your personal style?
Wow, it’s fun. I definitely take on different characters on different days, just cause I can. I’ll wear super preppy clothes one day, totally decked out in Gant and Ralph Lauren etc, but then the other day i’ll wear a bright jumper from Asos with mint green tights, it totally depends on what’s new to my wardrobe, as I tend to wear new things straight away, I don’t really believe in waiting for the right moment…
Probably New York, I know what you’re thinking, that’s not really a ‘holiday destination’ but I have the best memories from there…When I was 9 my parents took me, for the first time and we went to Chinatown and I remember eating the most random things, now that I think about it, it was probably just some cake with ‘jello’ on the top! Oh and my first ‘designer’ dress was this Lilac dress from SAKS, too bad I can’t remember who it was by…
But if we’re talking a real holiday, it would probably be Switzerland! I recently went to the Alps in Adelboden and stayed at this hotel called the Cambrian, that was just beyond amazing and waking up to the mountains, pretty much took my breath away on a daily basis.
