#digitaldressup with FarFetch

October 1, 2012

Styling is always a super fun task, so when FarFetch invited me down for an evening filled with said activity, I obviously said yes. Arriving quite early the clothes were all still on the racks and people were hanging out; and so began my sartorial high, pulling Cacharel, Givenchy, Jonathan Saunders, I went WAY out, and just had fun with colours, which in case you couldn’t tell, I love to do.

Check out my favourite piece that I styled from FarFetch’s AW12 ‘offerings’, (so overall collection throughout all the boutiques that make up FarFetch), plus they made a video that documented the whole night, so check it out! Yours truly even makes an appearance, an odd/awkward one but nonetheless, an appearance..

Ports 1961 keeps things cool.

January 2, 2012

Okay, Ports 1961 is a brand that I love but I don’t see much of unless I’m looking at the New York fashion scene which is fair enough but with their current (pre-fall) collection looking so cool it definitely has made me realize how much more I’ll be blogging about them this year.

For me, I look at these clothes and think jeez, if these were additions to my wardrobe, I’d surely do be able to do no wrong when it comes to things like Fashion Week or general dinner parties, right?
I suppose the 1st & 3rd dresses may be for those with an acquired taste, but whilst admiring them, (especially the 3rd one), I just can’t help but think that the dogs tooth motif has been blurred out to perfection, making these three coloured, floor lengths, pretty great.
