Bode started off as technically a men’s brand but it became very obvious quickly that they were unisex. Though they have recently forayed into a women’s specific line, I only shop their men’s and have found their women’s pieces to not be very size inclusive.
My first Bode purchase a few years ago were these straight leg cashmere trousers. I bought them when I was in LA, they’re green and checkered but so chill, since then I’ve always been curious to see what pieces inspire me.
sizing & Service
They typically go up to an XXL and I usually buy and XL, so I’d say if you were up to a UK26/US22, you’re likely to find some cool pieces here.
Customer service is consistently pretty good in Bode; they’re all very chill & cool individuals and generally will try to find you pieces that will work as they’re pretty passionate about the brand.

Because I shop the “mens” line, I have a lot of freedom when it comes to items that fit, I can honestly try everything from shirts, to cardigans to trousers. So if that sort of warm but classic aesthetic is your vibe, I reckon you’re going to love what will fit you at Bode. I bought the suede jacket (in an XL) in this video and it’s become a spring staple of mine. It actually comes in one size bigger (XXL) but it was too baggy, so I kept the jacket that felt a little more fitted.
This front tab jacket is made from corn-colored British corduroy with hand-drawn illustrations. This technique is inspired by an early 20th-century collegiate tradition in which seniors illustrated their corduroys with personal motifs.
This long sleeve shirt is inspired by a tablecloth, circa 1930s-1950s.
This shirt is inspired by an embroidered quilt, probably made for a children's room in the 1950s.
This jacket is inspired by a U.S. Navy coat from the 1940s. We reproduced the silhouette and the sailor collar in a midweight suede.
