isabel marant

Known for their outerwear, knitwear & shoes (think wedged trainers circa 2015), I thought I’d try some pieces from this go-to French brand. Their strongest pieces definitely seem to be their coats & jackets, with shapes that I found to be unique and very chic.

sizing

As we know a lot of these stores, even if they don’t do plus size, won’t even carry the bigger sizes that they do produce, in store. They have pieces going up to a FR48, but only has FR42/44 in store. Also generally I find French sizes to be smaller than their Italian equivalents.

offering

I focused on trying mainly outerwear and knitwear as they really didn’t have a lot of sizes in stock. That said, they had a range of dresses and tops that I think would have fit, should they have had FR46(UK18) in stock.

service

A little cold at first but once I started picking pieces their team became warm and helpful, not too sure what changed but I ended up having a good experience there.
