Loro Piana

Next up in my “plus size & passing” series is Loro Piana.

Known for using the finest materials and craftwork, they’ve recently become a favourite of mine, with my ever growing love for Cashmere. Naturally being a predominately knitwear brand, it automatically means their pieces are going to have a lot more give, than a silk or cotton heavy brand, so whether it’s a knitted dress, jumper, jacket or coat, you might be pleasantly surprised by what fits you from the brand.

sizing

 I mostly wear IT46/IT48 with Loro Piana but on occasion a IT44 can also fit. They do have pieces that goes up to a IT54 (UK22) but it’s rare to find those in store, they’ll likely be online.

 I’ve only ever shopped from their women’s line but I reckon their men’s will likely have some great fitting pieces too, I’ll definitely try that next time.

They truly have a great range of outerwear. The amount of coats/jackets I wanted was insane and with their price points, it’s the kind of things you save up for, it’s definitely not a casual purchase. Nevertheless you can expect a lot of strong outerwear & loungewear that are on the plus size passing side of things.

I had a lovely advisor when I was in their Paris store; everyone’s experience will be different but I’ve found going in having done some research and knowing the names of items etc makes them more likely to helpful as they’ll get the impression that you really like & know the brand.
