Prada

A long time favourite of mine, I was eager to see what fit and surprised by just how many pieces did. Not just the knit & stretchy pieces, but cotton shirts and coats. I don’t know if this is what they’re always like but based on what I tried, Prada is definitely a Plus Size Passing brand.

sizing

I didn’t get the chance to try anything bigger than a UK12 but was pretty impressed with the shirts, jumper & coat I tried on considering they were all sized between a UK8-12.

Clearly the Prada fit (at least in the current collection) is a little more oversized and even though the fabrics aren’t stretchy they still are comfortable for bigger bodies.

Typically anything knitted is a safe place to start. A lot of their shirts have an oversized fit and were great options too. Plus they love classics like jersey dresses & mesh vests, so there’s quite a bit to pick from.

So Prada technically go up to an IT50 = UK18 = US14 but both Paris & New York store’s said they typically only go up to IT42 in store but you can find the rest online.

Out of all the brands I visited, both the New York & Paris branches had genuinely nice & helpful service, so I’m excited to visit the London & Milan ones too.
